Just seeing him visibly relax, seeing the crook of his mouth turn up, it’s like he’s taken on a peculiar brightness, a light, some sort of warm aura that Gaku can’t look away from, some bizarre, honey-colored magnetism. Now that he’s not shaking, now that he’s gently uncurled his body from his previously insulated posture, he looks so open, so pleased with himself, like he’s done something right, when all he’d done was sit there and be nervous, but maybe that’s it, and that’s all he’d needed to do to lure Gaku in. Just be cute and nervous.
