Adrien nibbled on his lips, nodding. His stomach churned uncomfortably.
“He’s Shadowmoth.”
Adrien froze, blood turning to ice in his veins. “That’s not funny Felix.”
“I wasn’t joking.”
Felix was smirking, the ring - Mother’s ring - still playing between his fingers. He was looking down on Adrien, a mix of pity and cruelty.
Adrien had never wanted to punch someone more, at that moment.
