Summary
Sailor Phainon gets shipwrecked in a rough sea. He’s saved by Anaxa, a half-octopus sea creature with an alluring human torso and a mass of dark tentacles below.
At first, Phainon is terrified. He thinks he's being stalked by a vicious monster. But soon, he realizes Anaxa is no threat, just a lonely and intelligent creature who craves connection. The two bond over their mutual curiosity and Anaxa is over the moon at making his first friend.
But Phainon can't stay forever. He has to rebuild his ship and sail back to land. And then Anaxa will be left all alone again, with nothing but a memory...
