"I wanted to give you something. You know, Will had this… box back when we were in Lenora. He always hid it and never showed me, never showed anyone what it was. When I asked him, he just blushed and said it was a secret. I was going through some of his old stuff and I found it in his closet and I think it’s for you.” Joyce told Mike.
“Me?” Mike’s tired eyes widened. He looked dumbfounded as Joyce handed him a dusty shoebox with a sticky note on it. It said ‘For Mike’.
“Yeah. He was really secretive about it. I think he was waiting for the right moment to give it to you and then, well… you know what happened.”
OR
Will dies in a fatal car accident and Mike is devastated. He doesn’t sleep or eat for days and all his hope and joy has disappeared. Until one day, Joyce gives him a shoebox of letters that Will had written for Mike when he was in Lenora but had never been sent.
