“Uh, Bambi, what are you doing?”
“Huh?” Bambi blinked a few times and raised his ears. He looked away from the blur of deer and looked down at Thumper, who had appeared next to him and spoken to him. He also came accompanied by Flower. “Oh… I’m watching the herd run?”
Thumper looked up at him and raised a suspicious eyebrow, somewhere between confused and amused, “Why are you answering with a question?”
Bambi quickly lowered his ears again and blushed. Flower laughed charmingly to himself, taking pity on Bambi.
“Thumper, I think it’s obvious he’s watching the herd run. But you have to see who he’s really looking at.”
Okay, Bambi may or may not be in love a little bit with Ronno. He may or may not be a bit of an impulsive deer. And that's totally fine, really.

“Hey, Flower.” Bambi tilted his head curiously, shifting a bit in place. Flower hummed, indicating that he was listening. Bambi continued, a little nervous, “How… how do you know which flower is the best for each animal? How do you know what their type of flower is?”
“Why do you ask?” Flower asked in his usual silky voice, blinking lazily. Bambi noted the exact moment Flower's delicate features softened even more as he realized the why of Bambi's question. “Oh. Oh, Bambi. Do you want to give flowers to someone special? Is that?”
Bambi is in love. Flower realizes.
If love was like a seed, each approach like a stem, each moment like its leaves, and each affection like its soft petals… better to let that flower continue to bloom, right?
