Summary
As soon as Nat gets in the car, he feels scared again. He has always thought of himself as a brave person, but he is not so sure anymore. He is still debating what to say, or rather how much to share about his feelings. Maybe Max can figure it out without him having to say it out loud.
“I figured something out today.” He starts as soon as Max gets the car going.
He can see how tired his phi is and does not want to circle the wagons too long. Besides, if he does not do it now, he will probably not say anything.
“Do you remember what we talked about when I came by your place last time?”
Or MaxNat openly communicating about their feelings (and maybe finally admitting they love each other).

It’s a rainy day in Japan. Max is freezing — he wonders if Nat is, too. The sweater he is wearing looks too loose to actually provide him enough warmth. But what could Max do? Wrap his arms around his nong and keep him there, tucked away from the world, warmed and protected and cared for? He doesn’t know why his thoughts always wander this way when they are together. It might be natural — Nat is so young and so small it’s actually hard for Max not to feel responsible for him.
or: The cast of Why R U are traveling in Japan — they plan to go to a bathhouse, but Nat really doesn't want to go and ends up crying. Max feels overly protective of him.
