“I, well…” Kazuya says, his eyes quickly scanning the room. “You kept it exactly how it was.”
“So you did miss the place,” Mei replies triumphantly.
“Not just the place,” Kazuya answers without pause and Mei’s heart lurches in his throat, smashing down all the walls he’s built up since they called it quits, no, since Kazuya quit on them. Maybe he wouldn’t say it, because Kazuya doesn’t just say these things, not unless Mei says them first.
But then Kazuya’s voice trembles and Mei’s sure it’s not a hallucination when he hears ‘I miss you, Mei’, his name soft the way Kazuya reserves only for him in private. Reserved—past tense—but it sends him back to a bad place regardless, because the last time they were together in private, they didn’t just fall apart, they downright shattered.
But as mad as he is, Mei misses him too.

Summary
Mei tells him about the problem, anyway. It's always been like this. Mei shows him his scars and will pretend Kazuya didn't have his, in return. Maybe it's a little bit unfair, on Mei's side, but Kazuya has never been fair. Mei still talks to him, despite it all.
Kazuya takes his time unlearning bad habits. Mei waits, and waits, and waits.

Summary
Oikawa expects that his time in prison won't be the best two years of his life. What he doesn't expect is an antisocial cellblock, a half-crazed redhead who insists on befriending him, and the wildcard boss of Block Three who builds a grudge against him on day one. Worst of all is the menacing Iwaizumi Hajime, to whom Oikawa becomes an unwilling cellmate. Iwaizumi is coarse, unpleasant, and makes it quite clear that he wants nothing to do with Oikawa.
At first, anyway.
Within the first few months of his stay, Oikawa gets caught up in a war between cellblocks, becomes a prime target, and must decide just how far he's willing to go to protect Iwaizumi Hajime.
