He scooted closer to you and raised his hand to your neck. His fingers brushed over your skin and traced your jawline and you shivered at the contact. His eyes twinkled with amusement and his thumb rested on your bottom lip, tugging it slightly. A silent breath passed through your parted lips and you were frozen where you sat.
Scaramouche sneered, “What reason do I have to let a worthless bitch live?”
He had everything. Every reason to let you live and you were determined to let him know, or you'd die trying.
(Or you become Scaramouche's assistant in the Fatui and have to survive while working under him. You learn the scariest thing isn't the Harbinger's temper, it's his damn smile and the way he looks at you when you're alone together.
Nah, it's probably nothing weird. Even if his smile gives you butterflies you'll always hate him. He's a cruel Harbinger, after all.
