Summary
“Hey sexy,” Enjin greets.
Gris pulls a shirt from the dryer, shakes it once and lays it in the basket tucked under his arm.
“No.”
Enjin pouts as he leans against the doorway, his shoulders spanning most of the frame.
“You don’t even know what I’m going to ask.”
“And I don’t need to know,” Gris says patiently, smiling as Enjin further smooshes his lips in a pout. “It’s the first Friday of the month, and you want me to race Sheila. No.”

Summary
Blue is Kanto Champion for thirty-nine minutes.
That’s it. Technically, he’s part of the Hall of Fame, technically he’s an accepted Champion. Technically, the title was his once, so it will always be his. Technically, he can’t lose it. He just loses being the present Champion.
He also, briefly, held the Kanto record for youngest ever Pokemon League champion. That was until Red, three months younger, caught up to him.
Really, Blue hadn’t even been surprised.

Summary
Min is going to wake up eventually, and Min is so skittish. It reminds Ryan of any of the dozens of cheap paperback horse girl books his sisters read obsessively in their youth: intrepid young women taming dangerous wild stallions through determination and the power of friendship or something. Not that Min is much of a dangerous wild stallion, but he is easy to spook and prone to bolting. Ryan figures with enough patience and sugar, maybe Min will really, truly trust him.
Huh. Were all those horse stories an allegory for something all along, or do girls just universally really love horses?
Well, whatever.
He really hopes Min won't have second thoughts.
