Summary
“If I betray you, I betray myself. If I betray him, I betray my country;” Harry’s breath has become hollow, but his gun is still high before him “my country is very dear to me.”
“Dearer than I?”
“No. No, not dearer than you.” That is not how it was supposed to go. “But what good are words... when your heart is breaking? If I fail now, I should deserve to die. You tricked me into loving you.”
“You’re wrong.”
“All this time, you were just pretending.”
“Harry, I was in love with you.”
In a world of blood and power, Tom is cold, Harry is lost. Now, either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives. Oh, and they are married.
Easy to say, no one is safe.

Summary
When Boris looks at the stars, sometimes he can feel them returning his gaze. We know you don’t belong here, Boris. This place is not for you. And he knows it too, like he knows he would trade anything to actually belong there. You are a black sheep amongst these people. You will stain them with your darkness. Boris wants to scream.
alternatively, a collection of brief figments of boris' existence that intends to show how life is inextricably intertwined with death, and how love does, sometimes, conquer both.

Summary
Every time Boris comes home with an injury, Theo feels thirteen again. It’s the way Boris shrugs them off, and shies away when he can feel Theo’s eyes on his skin. Like he used to do back when he still lived in his father’s house. The resemblances to that time should scare Theo, but instead (this is something he can hardly admit even in the darkness of the bedroom) they somehow comfort him. Not so many things have changed, after all. Boris’ body has been covered in bruises for as long as he has known him.
in which boris’ bruises are no longer from his father’s recklessness, and understanding feelings was always a problem for theo. sometimes pretending everything is fine is easier than admitting the truth. sometimes it’s not.
