Summary
Post-Starcourt, Hawkins is supposed to be done with monsters.
Then Sophia falls into town with memories that don’t line up anymore—and the future stops behaving.
As Steve Harrington learns how to stop holding everything alone, secrets change the air in a room, friendships adjust in small, dangerous ways, and a threat begins to move long before anyone can name it.
A slow-burn, character-driven Season 4 rewrite where the horror arrives quietly, the relationships shift first, and knowing the future no longer means you’re in control of it.

Summary
Steve Harrington learned how to survive. He never learned how to be loved.
After everything Hawkins put him through, Steve settles into a quieter life teaching middle school, coaching baseball, and pretends the past stayed buried when the gates finally closed for good. The town knows about the earthquakes and blackouts but they don't know what it cost him.
Claire Bennett always noticed the things other people missed. The kid who never talked, the one who flinched at sudden noises, and the ones who learned how to disappear in plain sight. Which is why she noticed Steve. She remembers the boy Steve used to be. Or at least, the boy everyone thought he was. Popular. Untouchable. Safe. What she finds instead is a man who startles too easily, avoids silence, and carries a loneliness that feels familiar.
They went to school together their whole lives but they may as well have been in completely different worlds. Now they share hallways, late afternoons, and a growing awareness that some parts of him never made it out of the darkness that still haunts him.
This is a story about how sometimes healing begins with someone simply choosing to stay.

Alice Newby’s Guide to All Things Hawkins, Indiana by beaingophelia

Summary
Alice Newby is certain about three things:
1. The midwest really isn’t as bad as people make it seem. You can experience every season to its full extent in a year. People are friendly, for the most part (she’s looking at you, Jim Hopper). And, the landscapes really are beautiful if you know where to look.
2. Steve Harrington uses too much hairspray. Really, nobody’s hair should stick up that straight. She swears it was somewhat contained last year, but now it looks like he discovered what a can of aerosol hairspray can do and ran with it. Yes, she’s aware she needs to stop thinking about Steve Harrington’s hair, but it’s distracting. She can’t help it.
3. There is something going on in Hawkins, Indiana, and the more she finds out about it the more she wants to redact number one. Okay, maybe certain was too strong of a word.
