    With the song leading into its second chorus, Whisper’s confidence skyrocketed as she continued singing her heart out. It was as if all those bottled-up temptations from the past year were being poured into this one performance, and honestly? Whisper loved this feeling. She felt free, like a bird being released from a cage of repressed emotions.

    So when Whisper screamed out that climatic, ear-shattering high note, part of her wished she could keep going forever.

    Then a loud clunking noise from behind immediately brought her plummeting back to reality.
