Papa had said 'knights in shining karma,' and Franziska wishes that was a little more literal, because she thinks perhaps if she had a sturdy, sharpened sword in her hand and the demons of the people were literal manifestations she could slice to ribbons, the cold burning in her chest might be assuaged.
But she’s a knight only in metaphor and her riding crop’s a little dull, so instead she prosecutes.

thank you for my LIFE with this one for real. i have accepted every single headcanon that is in this one into my worldview i do not even know where to begin. i love these two bitches and everything about their dynamic and how you write them. i know with my mind that nothing in canon supports these two having a 13 year long strange friendship and courtroom rivalry pre dl-6 but my heart knows the truth. it happened. they were besties. (also because it just makes everything about dl-6 so much more PAINFUL. GOD.
