You've reached the other end of the pool, you realize, and he rests his back against the pool wall, still embracing you snugly in his arms. "Tired of keeping up with your restlessness at night? Maybe, but that's what I'm here for, isn't it?"
"No, I meant. Aren't you tired of me? Taking care of me?" You muttered, an underlying worry creeping into your voice. You pull back to meet his gaze, keeping one arm around his neck while the other falls into the water.
