Summary
Henry Clerval sits on a Scottish shoreline after Victor Frankenstein disappears (enigmatically, as he seems wont to do these days). Somewhat dismayed at the idea of a solitary holiday, he finds another traveler in the fields. They strike up a conversation, but a twist accident of nature leaves an injured Henry and Creature in an abandoned cabin. In the ensuing weeks, they strike up a friendship - until Henry realizes something more lingers in the depths of his heart.
