“-Hey, Jason? Are you okay?”
“No,” Jason snaps. “You’re distracting me.”
Silence. Leo comes forward. Jason’s back digs into the wooden edge of the table. “I’m distracting you?”
Leo’s hand twitches, like he’s not sure where to put it. It lingers in the air between them, making a choice. Instead of a friendly shoulder pat or slap on the back, Jason’s fingers are met with the familiar warmth and completion of Leo’s. Their hands interlock, sliding into place as they’ve done so many times before under the cover of darkness.
But this time there’s light, and they can’t escape the bright truth that it brings.
“How, exactly, am I distracting you?"

it’s a nondescript day in argentina; the sweltering summer has sealed the windows shut and a small fan keeps their skin cool to the touch. long limbs sprawl across oikawa’s twin sized bed and iwaizumi’s reading a museum brochure out loud in spanish for practice. when he’s finished, he looks over and asks oikawa what he wants to do. oikawa smiles.
“you, iwa-chan,” he answers and that’s how oikawa tooru politely asks his best friend, iwaizumi hajime, to screw him into the mattress.

Summary
“You want to ruin him," Sukuna says.
Maybe Sukuna isn’t wrong about that, Fushiguro thinks in a daze. Itadori’s heart is too heavy and too precious. It’s a burden that shouldn’t be given to anyone else. Because even Itadori himself can’t take care of it, can’t hold onto it for the life of him because he’d rather become the vessel to the most wretched of all curses just to help two people he’s only known for a few months—to help Fushiguro, who he’d only met that night.
(I can keep it. Fushiguro’s hands move. I can hold onto it, if you want.)
Maybe Sukuna’s definition of ruin wasn’t all that wrong from what Fushiguro wanted after all. Maybe that did make him just as wretched.
But if Itadori was still willing to stay beside him, despite knowing that—
Then there was no reason for Fushiguro to let him go.
Or—
Some dreams start to keep Fushiguro up at night, and the cure to stopping them might be closer than he thinks.
