Summary
On the way to Erid, Ryland and Rocky stumble upon an abandoned space station. What they find there leaves Ryland with worrying dreams and visions of a strange man covered in dried blood.
Meanwhile, Simon has washed upon a tiny shore on the blood moon, confused as to how he is still alive. Though his heart continued to beat, the specters of the dead visit him in his waking hours. That is, until Ryland appears to him one day, a bright light in the inky dark of the moon.

Simon and Ryland suddenly gain a psychic connection. While Ryland worries about food on his long trip to Erid, Simon wonders how he’s still alive and what the voices in his head want from him. Together, they try to figure out what’s going on between them. And try to get one another out of their respective situations alive.
