Navigating the dark tunnels deep withing the misty mountains, Bilbo hears a laugh echoing against the wet walls; a sound warm enough to remind him of summer evenings back at the hollow. He follows the vibrations, half hoping for it to be the dwarves, and turns the corner. There he sees a man, tanned skin glowing in the lantern light. Beside him another man, smaller and grey.
