Summary
Hogwarts is a high school in which the most elite and wealthy families send their children to prepare for great futures. At this school, there are two well-known groups: The Seekers and The Snitches. The Seekers are a group of pranksters, going through school with the goal of breaking every rule (including those made because of them). The Snitches are a band, popular both at school and around the area as they perform at small gigs and school concerts. Both groups don’t get along with the other. No one knows why really, they just don’t.
However, all of this changes when they enter fifth year and their dorm assignments change. Now, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black are roomed together. Will they tear each other apart out of annoyance? Or will their hatred soon transform into something a little more like love?

This fic will span over many years, following the Marauders through all seven of their Hogwarts years and into the subsequent three years of the First War, concluding with the events of Halloween 1981. The main focus will be on Remus, Sirius, James, and Regulus w/ most chapters told from one of their POVs. It's pretty slowburn and also looks like it's going to be pretty long, we're talking 100+ chapters.
It will have a canon compliant ending in the sense that James and Lily will die, Sirius will go to Azkaban as the traitor, Pete will betray them, etc. The only difference is that I'm shuffling around what happens during the First War (those three years between their graduation and Halloween 1981) and veering away from canon here with my own version of events, of which the biggest difference will be what happens with Regulus.
Jily is *technically* endgame but we get as close to it not being towards the end that it almost might not be? I can't say much more without spoiling it but this will remain primarily a jegulus (and wolfstar ofc) fic! Jily is the secondary ship to these.

Summary
When Bruno felt the miracle return, he was terrified things would go back to the way they were a decade ago. His gift was the very thing that drove a wedge between himself and his family in the first place, and he worried everyone would treat his gift the way they always had. In some ways, his fears were right, but he was wrong in all the ways that mattered.
Or; Generational trauma is complicated, and the Madrigals are a family of hurt people who struggle to stop hurting each other. But they're trying.
