“You were doing something before, no?”
“Fuck that,” he manages, almost succeeding in keeping his tone even. He couldn’t care less about what he was doing before, not when his gorgeous husband is two inches away from where he needs him most.
“No, no. It seemed so important a minute ago. Go on, котёнок, pick it up.”
With a display of self control that could rival a military man’s, Shane reaches over and gingerly picks up the book, holding it open to the page he had left off on. He says nothing, waiting for Ilya’s next command. The heat in his abdomen turns over on itself, spreading further south.
“Good boy,” Ilya growls out and presses a lingering kiss to the inside of his bare thigh. Shane’s chest glows at the praise. “Now read. You will hardly know I am here.”
That very quickly proves to be a lie.

ORShane would rather pay attention to his book than his husband. Ilya eats him out about it. (Shane tries to ignore it, he is abysmally unsuccessful.)
