It took what felt like ages for his trembling fingers to get the pregnancy test out of his bag. He dreaded the two lines displayed. Fuck.
Bollocks, even.
George emptied his bag on the small kitchen island. He rummaged through the day’s trash and grabbed the other two unopened pregnancy tests he got a hold of. He hadn't the faintiest hope that the first was a fluke as something primal inside him confirmed the result. Against all reason, he knew damn well he was pregnant. But he knew he had to face it properly, and hopefully with some grace this time.
