The moment Jeon Somi’s "Closer" came on, the energy in the club shifted. The crowd erupted, loving the beat. Sunghoon spotted a girl dancing in the distance, moving effortlessly to the music. It was like everything else blurred out, and he couldn’t take his eyes off her. His feet carried him toward her, almost as if some invisible force was pulling him in.
As he got closer, the lights flashed and illuminated her face for just a second. That’s when he realized, the girl wasn’t a girl at all.
Jake was standing next to her, and in that instant, the trance was broken. Wait, why is Jake here? He didn’t say he was coming.
His eyes snapped to the girl beside Jake, and as the lights hit her face, he froze.
