She pictured the girl's face as much as she could, but she foolishly had only paid attention to her eyes. Those big, blue eyes. Piercing yet gentle, staring into her very soul. She knew those eyes.

“Duchess,” the princess said plainly, offering a downturned hand.
Crowley had been told thousands of times by many etiquette teachers they had scared away that the kissing of a royals hand had gone out of style. That one was to take the hand, curtsy, and move on. All of that stuck in their head, but didn’t change the movement they made. As she curtsied, Crowley leaned forward a bit and placed the gentlest of kisses against the back of her plump hand, purposefully leaving a faint stain of red.
“Princess. Congratulations on the engagement.”

Crowley is a duchess of a minor territory and Aziraphale is a high princess whose wedding is rapidly approaching. With Crowley developing a crush on the heiress, tensions are high as the princess seems to lean into the temptation.

She knew the angel wasn’t talking about physically. There could be serious repercussions if either of their sides found out what they were doing, especially now. Crowley didn’t care. The only thing she could focus on now was Aziraphale under her hands and lips and body.
