Summary
There was something wrong with Omen. All of VALORANT had noticed, and been affected personally in their own ways. Omen had become more aggressive on both missions and during leisure time around base. Not only did he ignore the other agents, but snapped and harmed them with insatiable rage.
Omen's sudden drastic change shocked everyone. Eventually, KAY/O was sent to deal with the shadow's sudden mood swing, and he discovers the root of the problem by accident.

Summary
Omen hasn't been the same since he killed Cypher. His team constantly reminds him that it wasn't his fault, that it was just an accident and none of them blame him for what he did, but he can't accept their forgiveness. Just like how he can't fully come to terms that Cypher is dead. He still feels the echoes of his lover, out there, calling to him from the void. He has to believe that Cypher isn't gone forever. He has to have hope.
Cypher can't give in. He hasn't cracked in seven months and no matter how many times they kill him, no matter how many times they torture him, he will not give in. Only one thing keeps him going. The hope that somehow, somewhere Omen is searching for him.
AKA I put Cypher and Omen through hell and back for shits and giggles. Enjoy! (Also there is a playlist for this fic in the end note if you want to listen to the songs that inspire me to write!)
BTW: EXTREMELY slow updates!! Like, once a month updates!!! I have a busy life, and it takes me a while to perfect chapters. Thanks for understanding!
