Uenoyama lowers his head a little. “You—” It comes out almost between his teeth, like he’s gritting it out. “You’re really sticking with Kaji-san lately.”
Is that bad? Does that mean he is angry? Does that mean Mafuyu made him angry?
“That’s—”
Uenoyama whirls around, lodging Mafuyu’s words in his throat. He flinches by accident, just because Uenoyama is so close, and Mafuyu expects there to be a hand, next, coming just as fast.
He wishes the antidepressants were working, because he’s feeling the wrong things, right now. He’s feeling scared.
He’s not supposed to be scared around Uenoyama. He’s not supposed to be scared of Uenoyama.
“You really think I wouldn’t be angry?” Uenoyama demands. His eyes narrow, unfriendly and accusatory.

Zhongli mulls it over. His actions had been regrettable, and surely, he’s scared the young man off for a time. Childe is in a delicate state. A shell of himself in his mysterious ailment. Zhongli has the overwhelming urge to fix it. Overtake that foul stench with his own, throw Childe to the ground and fill him with his seed until it was him the young man reeked of.
He had not. Zhongli has restraint. But it struck him with such a heated desire that it disturbed him. Zhongli has not felt a need to stake his claim in such a way for a very long time.
“I worry,” Lumine confesses in the thoughtful silence. Truth be told, Zhongli does too.

Summary
Mr. Zhongli is talking again. Childe loves listening to his voice. It's smooth as silk and wraps around him like a warm cocoon. He would gladly stay here, lost in his voice forever. He feels so good and safe whenever he's with Zhongli.
How strange that afterwards he wouldn't be able to name a single topic they discussed if someone were to ask.
