Rikki just stood there. She really should leave, she would have, wanted to, even, but there was just something so strange about seeing Miriam crying, hiding somewhere like this. It made her wonder what could've happened to get her that upset.
And certainly, Rikki has had an awful day herself, so maybe this was just the culmination of all the days' shit but she found herself walking over to Miriam regardless and sitting down next to her.
