Summary
Someone is holding her right hand, and when Emma finally cracks her eyes open and rolls her head to the side, she sees Regina in a padded hospital chair. Regina’s head is pillowed on one arm on Emma’a bed, hair mussed and all over the place, and her other hand tightly clutches Emma’s even in sleep. Where their fingers are entwined Emma can see a sluggish purple pulse, feel the warmth of Regina’s magic seeping into her skin.
In which TLK cannot actually heal a stab wound. Or, Emma gets hurt, and Regina freaks the fuck out. And then they talk a lot.

Summary
“Mom,” Henry says, and Emma is surprised to see his eyes trained not on her or Regina, but the Queen. He reaches for her hand, and she holds herself completely motionless, gaze flicking between his hand and his face.
“You’re asking me to go,” she says, the dullness entering her voice and eyes a stark contrast to the arch sharpness she’d leveled at Emma and Regina just moments before.
“Actually, I’m asking you to stay,” Henry says, and both Regina and the Queen stiffen, shoulders drawing back and eyes widening in twin reflections of surprise.
“Henry…” Regina warns in a hoarse whisper, the same time the queen asks, “What?”
“Stay,” Henry repeats. “I know this is one of your favorites. Stay and watch it with us. Everything else…well, it can wait.”

Summary
It’s three hours before Regina agrees to try and sleep, three hours of drinking and silence that is broken only by the crackling of the fire, and it makes Emma nervous and antsy, because she wants to move, wants to do, but if this is what Regina needs, then she can do this, can sit and be quiet and still, sit and just be there.
Regina is less than steady on her feet when she rises, closing her eyes when she first pushes herself up, but she waves off Emma’s offer of assistance. Emma hovers behind her the whole walk up the stairs, arm out and ready to catch her in case Regina stumbles and misses a step, but they make it to Regina’s room without mishap, Regina dropping down onto the edge of her bed, head in her hands.

Summary
The house is dark when he lets himself in, smells musty and empty. Usually this time of year the house smells like a mix of pine tree and cinnamon, of fresh-baked gingerbread and woodsmoke from a crackling fire. His mom goes on holiday baking binges in December, sugar cookies and gingerbread men and cranberry muffins, more than the two of them could possibly eat, so the house smells like sugar all month long. Usually there’s a bowl of clove-studded oranges on the dining room table; he and his mom make them together the first weekend in December while watching Rudolph. Usually there are vanilla candles burning on the front hall table, strains of music drifting through the house. Usually even when everything else is dark, the Christmas tree is still lit up.
Usually everything is warm.
Season 2 Christmas fic. Henry runs away home.

Summary
The scowl on Regina’s face would be frightening if it weren’t also so tired, and after a moment she sighs and lets her shoulders sag. Stops tugging at the cuff on Zelena's wrist and slides her hand down so that she is clinging to Zelena’s fingers instead, and Zelena wants to laugh at the absurdity of it except she thinks that might make Regina realize what she’s doing and let go.
Set a few weeks after the 4b finale. Zelena and Regina learn how to be sisters.
