While traveling to Austin to spend Christmas with his father, FDNY Firefighter TK Strand happens to meet a sweet and stunningly attractive Austin Police Officer. The two get to know each other over the course of their flight and when their travel plans are interrupted by an unforeseen storm, they decide to take matters into their own hands and make the journey to Austin together by other means.
As it turns out road trips are great for bonding, but they are also very telling and sometimes you learn more about a person than you intended to. But they can also lead to a crossroads, where you decide what it is that you want: to settle down in the security of the life you've always known or to take a chance on something new.
Not every journey to self-discovery is straightforward, after all.

Summary
