Todoroki rolled his eyes at Bakugou's protests. “What do you have in mind?”
In hopes of making Kirishima look Bakugou's way, he teams up with Todoroki to carry out a plan. A plan to fake-flirt with each other, knowing that Kirishima and Deku will notice and perhaps get a little... jealous? At least Bakugou hoped so. It would be a lot easier if Todoroki stopped making Bakugou second guess his every move.

“Where do the bruises come from?” Katsuki asks one day, a full month after their first conversation.
It takes Shouto a second to register the question, since it’s so casual that he wonders if he misheard. But Katsuki’s eyes are on his neck and Shouto touches the side of it absentmindedly, because even if he can’t see them, he knows the bruises there.
“My dad,” Shouto replies before he can stop himself, but he doesn’t feel a thing when he utters those words. It’s a hollow confession that carries no weight, and he’s not sure how he can say such a thing without even skipping a beat.
Or: Shouto learns to breathe with as much ease as it takes to kiss Katsuki.

“touya?” comes down the hospital’s hallway and it takes dabi a moment for the name to register and his body to flinch.
the steady thrum of feet closes in on him to his left. red, crimson blood red, fills his peripheral vision.
shouto crowds into him, shoving his body in front of dabi until he’s forced to veer right or risk an altercation. the younger fills the only exit, the stark white fluorescent lights behind casting a halo over his form.
“touya.” shouto repeats, surer and firmer.
