Night terrors are frightening for anyone who experiences them, and the main audience of such revolting displays is primarily children, and they usually cry excessively and turn to somebody they find as special for comfort, whether it be a parent or a. . . friend.
It's not any different with our beloved Earl Phantomhive, I bet you'd think otherwise for the grumpy, "independent" tween who seems broken beyond repair.
Traumatized children aren't distorted human beings— they are normal ones too, and they should be treated as such.
McMillan had done an exceptionally good job on this incident, even if it was a tad-bit impulsive of him. . .

Welcome, as I assume that's the only suitable label I can address you with as I can not interpret anything about you behind this mysterious technology we meet together with. My name is Sebastian Michaelis, formally known as Earl Phantomhive's butler, and this is most certainly a tale that my memory will keep stored for a while, as I'm in pure shock when my young master does anything... outside of his character, indeed.
My young lord has seemed to unexpectedly take an interest in a boy who had befriended him in the upper-class public school we had investigated under the Queen's orders, going by the name of "Weston College." While I suppose I don't know his exact intentions, this goes without saying that even you might be surprised to hear such remarkable news from my young master, who very knowingly loves to isolate himself and rejects everybody who gives him any soft of affection whatsoever... so, I must admit, this even widens the eyes of a butler like m-
