She stopped herself, flailing her hand in no coherent gesture. Andy tried to fill in the blank–it wasn’t hard to connect, once she remembered that it started after they started dating.

“Fuck.”
They said at the same time. Emily winced, while Andy burst out laughing, “Jesus, Andy, you are so gooey. Who the fuck says make love?”
“Hey!” Andy pouted, “Fuck is such a crude word to describe it.”
“I don’t recall you ever complaining about it being crude when I ask you to fuck me.”
