now that they're older, nearing the end of high school, dating once again, the idea of each other's family is weighing on them both. for kazuya, there's the fear of having alienated people who once liked him because he broke mei's heart. for mei, there's the fact that kazuya's father is a total unknown and his only family left, someone so deeply important to kazuya.
it's heavy and emotional for them both. there are some very necessary emotional support hugs.

there's a hill that puzzles barbatos terribly, since it's proof that there's barely a border between liyue and mond. for morax, careful and rigid, with all his mountains surrounding liyue, it feels awfully strange. it makes barbatos wonder, it makes him hope.
(an attempt to address all the zhongven crumbs and references we've been given with lots of adoring pining. <3 no denial, just little moments of nerves, and then lots of kissing.)

Summary
