Summary
Taehyung isn’t a terrible witch, all things considered.
He’s been in tune with emotions since he was a small child, able to influence the people he loves with a carefully-placed smile. (Jungkook insists that’s not witchcraft, that’s just his personality, but Jungkook doesn’t know what he’s talking about.)
Unfortunately, when it comes to casting specific spells, he’s not sure what he’s doing.

Summary
Jimin rests his cheek in his hand, curled up against a pillow — somewhere in Jungkook’s sleep-drunk mind, he wonders where the hell he got it, if he brought it in, and promptly decides that doesn’t matter — and rolls his eyes. “How come you’re so convinced I didn’t just want to see you?” he asks.
And — if Jungkook were more awake, he wouldn’t respond, would shove at him and make kissy noises until Jimin got annoyed enough to leave. Now, though, he feels like he’s in a dream state, nowhere in particular, and — “Ah, hyung. You never just want to see me over someone else.”
There’s no answer, for a second, save the soft whisper of Jimin’s cool fingers against his forehead. “Of course I do,” he says between breaths, so quiet Jungkook really isn’t sure he’s not asleep.

Summary
Jungkook chews on his lip, and there's no reason for Namjoon to know it but they're already swollen, like he's been picking and chewing at them for weeks.
"Hey," he says softly. He doesn't know what possesses him in the moment, but he reaches out, gently tugging Jungkook's lip out from under his teeth. "Did you already lose the chapstick you bought?" His tone is quiet, aiming for admonishing, but he knows that (as always) it veers too far into fondness. Oh well.
Jungkook pouts. "I didn't!" he insists. "I had it in my pocket and then Hobi-hyung borrowed my pants and when he gave them back the chapstick was gone."
Namjoon fights against another indulgent smile. "What are we going to do with you?" he teases, gently pinching his cheek.

She closes her eyes and breathes, thinking of the night he caught her near the fountain, of the protection he seems to offer all of them from a distance. Let me help, he seems to be saying, Let me fix what I've ruined.
"I haven't forgiven you," she tells him quietly.
He doesn't try to hide the resignation on his face. "I know," he tells her. "I'm not looking for that. I only want to help."
And so she takes him up on it.
