Yeonjun has always been Beomgyu’s first love. Has been, will be. That was common knowledge.
He just happened to not return his feelings.
When he is proposed to enter a PR relationship, he takes it, selfishly, in hopes of helping Beomgyu move on.Spoiler alert: Beomgyu does just that and he doesn’t like it one bit.

They are not together. Yeonjun knows it, Beomgyu knows it. They can’t ‘commit’ is the usual excuse. They are ‘too busy’ is the actual reason, and their work wouldn’t allow them to be together without any possible consequences.
They know the consequences very well, and still, Beomgyu flips out the moment Yeonjun is flirted with. Feeling slighted and vindicated, Yeonjun naively eats the chocolates he was gifted and makes a grave mistake — he is now a cat hybrid in heat, and Beomgyu is the one who has to deal with the consequences.or.
All it takes for them to finally get over themselves and get together are spiked chocolates and cat ears.

Summary
Beomgyu has been running for as long as he can remember, and yet the ghosts from the past continue to haunt his soul.
