Summary
“Meet me in my room tonight,” El’s voice had been barely above a whisper, a fleeting sound amongst the activity surrounding dinner at the Byers home.
Later that night El had an amused look twinkling in her eyes as she opened her bedroom door for him. She had pulled her hair into a low ponytail with a bright purple scrunchie. Her bangs lay loose against her forehead and her cheeks were rosy pink.
Mike kept quiet, somehow still aware enough to remember that they weren’t alone in the house. In two easy strides he’d entered her bedroom as El shut the door behind him. He couldn’t wait another second, turning into El’s embrace, bending down to capture her lips in a kiss.
//Or: What I wish could've happened when Mike visited El in Lenora.

Summary
The thing is, El has never understood the concept of personal space. Since she came back in 1984, ever since she integrated in their lives so smoothly and so warmly, Mike has had to get used to the fact that El treats distance with him as a personal insult.
To lose her then was to lose a beautiful, wonderful, magical, tragic mystery from a little week of his childhood; to lose her now would be to lose his own heart.
Or, seventeen-year-olds dealing with love. Set just before Season 5, ep 1.

Summary
Post season one, happy-ending AU. Eleven moves in with the Byers', learns to adapt to ordinary Hawkins life, and tries to figure out why Mike has been acting so oddly since their kiss in the cafeteria. (Hint: it's because he's an awkward middle school boy who doesn't know what he's doing).
Story will include: Eleven/Jonathan bonding, Eleven/Joyce bonding, Eleven/Nancy bonding, Dustin teasing Mike about his crush on Eleven, Dustin clearly shipping Mike and El, Eleven discovering new powers, Eleven learning new words, Hopper being the best father figure ever, Eleven doing arts and crafts, Valentine's Day in Hawkins, and literally as much Mike/Eleven cuteness as my brain could come up with. NOW COMPLETE <3
