Summary
Want, want, want. Harvard had found, recently, that he likes making him ask for things— likes predicting those needs, and still have Aiden voice them out loud, however shaking, struggled they may come.
They share a look through the mirror, and Harvard understands the fire in Aiden's eyes. Often, the same thing burns through him, too, and he sometimes worries it'll light him like a pyre.

Summary
"What do you wanna see?"
"Something scary."
"Ah," Harvard thumbs through the library, without looking up. His fingers grow sticky with dust. "So you won't sleep at all?"
He feels the woosh of air as a decorative pillow from the seventies very nearly hits him. It lands with a dull tud by his feet. He looks back over his shoulder to offer Aiden an unimpressed look, but Aiden only sticks his tongue out.
"So you'll get to make fun of me for it. No, obviously not, because this is, like, the perfect ambiance." Aiden wiggles his fingers in the air, as though setting the tone for a story. "A pitch-black night, at a sleep-away camp, in the middle of nowhere? Two young camp counselors looking to have fun after a long day of not really giving a shit about the kids?"
Harvard wrinkles his nose, and picks up the first VHS with a title he can't remember watching as of late. He turns it over in his hands; Prom Night. "I care about the kids."
"You're so you sometimes."

Summary
A soft voice is cleared behind his soon-to-be-ex-stepmother, and he remembers, finally, why they're all supposed to be so serious about this.
The children.
Or, child. Singular.
He's far too old for this.
(or, sometimes a marriage brings surprises, and it leads to incredibly dull divorce proceedings and awful step-siblings bonding)

An argument that spirals, and all its consequences.
(Or, a very typical friends with benefits situation, except Harvard is in love with Aiden, and Aiden is in love with Harvard, and nothing is ever as simple as it should be.)

Be normal.
"I can't believe you're my boyfriend."
That's not fucking normal, idiot.
