It all piled together into one endless frustration.
What was even worse was that, as Arachid’s second-in-command, he had to be dragged along to every fancy meeting the King of the Caves held with political allies or enemies. He stood there with little choice but to endure hours of yapping.-
Parrot paced back and forth around the meeting room.
His colorful feathers fluttered wildly with a deep sense of unease. Sure, he was the one who had taken the massive gamble to invite his mortal enemies to a diplomatic meeting, but truth be told, he hadn’t really expected them to actually agree to show up.-
Flame gripped his sword tightly.
The worn hilt had already molded perfectly into his hands over time, a striking sign that he was a fighter through and through—someone who was all action, no words. To him, a crash of a sword spoke far more words than mere political meetings ever could.Or, the ones in power actually talk. Oh, and somehow the Great Sea is involved.

Hisirdoux Casperan was having a miserable day.
It had been several months since the battle with the Titans—several months since he’d lost both Archie and Nari all on the same day. As a master wizard and Merlin’s successor, Douxie found himself buried under the wreckage of a broken world, with far more "cleaning up" to do than time to actually mourn.But the universe apparently hated him, and now he found himself in a gloomy, unfamiliar house. Instead of camelot’s beautiful sky view, he was surrounded by a group of very angry-looking hedge wizards, all pointing wands directly at his face.
Ah, yes, he thought bitterly, this brings back some good old memories.
