Summary
Life was never clear with him. It didn’t matter how much he meditated or how many tidbits of Buddhist wisdom he committed to memory or jot down on sticky notes he stuck around his room. In the end, 2D was only left with more questions than answers.2D saved Murdoc. He didn't think it would make him so distant.

Summary
They seemed to assume Russel and Noodle understood their secret language of glances, discreet meetings behind bedroom doors, and yearning song lyrics. Suddenly, Murdoc was greeting 2D in the morning with a kiss on the neck, and 2D would be brushing his hair out of his face or rubbing his arm as if they had been committed life partners for years.
The band is changing, but Russel isn't so sure.

Summary
Kendall Roy is a paradox.
He is a man who is two men at once while simultaneously being who Stewy always knew he was. He is cold and warm, dominate and submissive, a fucking liar and heartbreakingly honest.
They are sitting across from each other now, and it is a paradox how they both act like they do not want each other as much as they really do.

Summary
Kendall huffs out a breath, like Stewy’s the one being irritating, and Stewy really isn’t sure what it is about Ken that makes him so fucking seditious, but before he can stop himself, Stewy drops his whiskey glass to the floor and leans over across the couch, shoving Kendall sideways with one hand and plucking the iPad from his grip with the other. It’s almost effortless – Kendall’s always been tragically easy to manhandle – and doesn’t become any less so when Kendall throws an arm out sideways, gripping Stewy’s shirt, but then it’s like he can’t decide if he wants to stand up and walk away or try and pull Stewy on top of him or shove him away and wrestle, so he just ends up sort of awkwardly splayed, and isn’t that just fucking symbolic?

Summary
Stewy reaches out and traces the bruise on Kendall’s back, fingers gentle. Kendall doesn’t move. He could be asleep for all Stewy knew.
But he’s not, so when Stewy says, “It’s okay, Ken,” Kendall turns and wraps his arms around Stewy’s waist again. Buries his head in his shoulder. Exhales when Stewy presses Kendall closer to him.
