Summary
This is an unapologetic fix-it story. It sprang from an idea I had about a point in the story where some simple changes could have saved so much future suffering. This is going to be a long fic. There will still be angst but in small amounts. Later on in the story there will be explicit smut, hence the smut rating. One thing to note is that my style of writing is heavily influenced by Charlotte Bronte. She was my muse as a child, and I never abandoned my archaic, romantic style. Li Susu failed to save Tantai Jin when her sister murdered her before she could cultivate a divine essence to replace his evil bone. Ji Ze sends her back again, granting her an advantage: knowledge of events she experienced the first time. He also gives her another gift—foreknowledge of events that would have occurred had she succeeded in her mission. This time, she becomes Ye Xiwu, but with Li Susu's love for Tantai Jin intact, determined to save both him and the world.
