"I know your name's Brett," The boy says with a chuckle, before covering his mouth as though afraid that line was too rude. When Brett only responds with a laugh and a smile, he continues."I'm Eddy. Eddy Chen."

Brett’s attention was drawn away from the flowers, as he registered Alex's words. Leaving the dahlias in their pot and walking towards Alex, he realised the said 'gift' was actually a gold-rimmed envelope and a single, lavender flower.
