Summary
Seiya Hotaru is not very smart—at least when it comes to its health. Despite being told time and time again to mind its body's limits, it has continued to disregard those warnings impulsively.
Which is why she's sick again.
In his mind, the ideal scenario is he holes up in his own dorm room until the symptoms subside—which should be quick, with Tsumiki's pain medication—but it seems his friends and classmates have other plans.

Summary
Maki clicks her tongue. “Did you really not realize it was going to rain?”
“...Ahaha. Oops.” Seiya laughs nervously, her expression falling into a frown. “I'm sorry. I was trying to surprise you, but... I dropped the cake a few blocks back.”
Her heart pangs with sympathy. “You got a cake for me?”
“It was the least I could do. I wanted to take you stargazing, too, but... That was also a bust.” Seiya tugs on the fabric of the cardigan, as if the very action were to bring him some comfort. “And now you're getting wet too.”
“...Akamatsu's been trying to tell you that you didn't have to worry.” Maki looks away, embarrassed by the other's admission. “Her and Tojo were apparently planning a cake and everything on their own. She got worried when she couldn't contact you.”
“Really? Ah... How silly of me, then.” Seiya looks up at the umbrella again, then reaches for the handle. It tilts it so they're both sheltered. A smile crosses its features, which ignites a familiar warmth in Maki's chest. “Let's go inside. Um, happy birthday, Harukawa-san.”
(...Hotaru tries to buy a cake for Maki's birthday. It does not go according to plan, but it's clear that she meant well.)

Summary
