Summary
Nozel Silva never truly loved freely, not since his mother, Lady Acier's passing.
He swore he would never let himself love again, though he found himself breaking those personal vows as feelings begin to develop for his childhood friend/rival, Fuegoleon Vermillion. A quick kiss in the bathroom of a bar when they were junior Magic Knights on a mission was all the confirmation Nozel needed to know his heart had been well and truly stolen.

Instead of letting Matt go out and get beaten black and blue by some random thug who wouldn’t stop when Matt was down, he would message Frank his color. Green meant he was okay, just needed to unwind a little and they would meet up for some casual sex, no questions asked, Matt would leave when they were done. Yellow meant Matt was needing a good fight. Frank would show up, they would fight, go back to his place or Matt's, whichever was closer, fuck around for a while, and maybe get something to eat afterward. Talking was optional; sometimes they did, sometimes they didn’t. Red meant Matt was in deep shit. Red was where he would normally go looking for a beat-down. Red was Frank’s way of knowing to drop everything and find Matt before he found trouble."
