Octavinell trio/Jamil
Absolutly amazing!!! Ive been obsessing over this for weeks.
I really love the depiction of Jamil and Kalims relationship and how Jamil is doing what he thinks is best to protect Kalim but it just leavs him felling isolated and unable to do basic things.
Honestly I just love the way the auther depits litterly everyone, but of the Octavinell trio my favorite is Jade, I just really like the way he understands Jamil on a personal level.

Highlights:
-the way they write Azul is my favorite out of all the characters, but it’s close with Jamil bc his writing is phenomenal too. I also love Floyd, Jade, Trey, Riddle, and Kalim. But Azul and Jamil are just so amazing omg.
(Leona is also written well, but I personally don’t really like him even in canon. But I love how this fic gives him more motivation than in cannon. Like him using his royal authority to help bring water to poor areas. It adds a lot to his character, and I hope they do something similar with him in cannon. I like this version of Leona slightly better than canon.)
-the way the author writes character’s emotions, backstories, and conflicts is genuinely breathtaking. I cried during Azul and Jamil overblot’s I love them SM omg.
-I love how the story is changed enough to add to the story but still stays pretty faithful to the canon despite some major changes.
-I really love this take on the omega verse it’s really refreshing to see it done so well. Again, it just adds so much to the story.
-I LOVE THAT YUU ISNT WEAK BECAUSE THEIR AN OMEGA. I absolutely love how Yuu fights their own battles and always corrects others when they imply that their weak bc their an omega. The only exception is when they have to rely on others for magic but that’s obvious bc Yuu doesn’t have any. And even then, like in the spell drive games where you would assume Yuu would need magic, they are determined to push forward despite their disadvantage. I love determined characters.
Looking forward to:
-IDA SHROUD MY BELOVED
-More Malleus and Lilia in the future
-Rook! He’s my favorite Twist character and I’m so happy he’s introduced
-Rook/Vil? They’re one of my favorite TWST ships but I’m getting hints of Vil/Neige so IDKKKK I’m not thatttt opposed to Vil/Neige, but I’m conflicted.
-Azul/Jamil? I see the hints but IDK if anything is going to happen bc Azul has the twins and Jamil has to work things out with Kalim, but it would be sooooo cute to see Azul try to win him over once he realizes he has feelings for him. And it would be cute to see the twins get jealous, but I can see them liking Jamil.
Overall: ITS LITTERLY SO AMAZING OMFG. Im usally a bit wary of the omegaverse bc it can get crazy but this is genuinely probably one of my favorite fics I’ve ever read and that’s saying something bc I’ve read a lot. The author is so talented, and their art is amazing as well. I will 100% be rereading this again soon.
