Lando’s ideas are shit.
It’s the only sane conclusion Max can reach while hiding in that stupid closet. That stupid Ferrari closet. Maybe this is how he was meant to end his career : caught in his fiercest rival’s garage, accused of spying and forced into early and scandalous retirement, just fresh out his record breaking 10 wins-in-a-row.
Or; Max gets involved in a dare to avoid talking about his ten year long crush on his rival, finds himself in some dodgy situation and stumbles on something he should have never seen.

"I know..." He hesitated, staring at the floor, "It's not that, not really."
"Feeling guilty then?" She guessed.
He let out the breath he'd been holding and met her eyes in the mirror. She was leaning against the door frame, arms crossed, a rather fond grin on her face.
"I don't want to hurt them. But I don't want to stop racing either."
She nodded in understanding, "And you can't do both."
