    My retelling of the Tears of the Kingdom plot with better characterization, worldbuilding, nuance, and an actual plot.

    After the rise of Hyrule Castle and the spread of Gloom in the Upheaval, Link searches for the princess he failed yet again to protect. Following vague clues, Link faces new fears and must learn to turn to his friends. Elsewhere, Zelda learns how Hyrule's greatest foe was once a treasured ally, and finds secrets of the past that could help save the future.
