Yunho talked a lot. In person. In texts. In voice messages. Sometimes Mingi would just listen to a three-minute audio of Yunho ranting about a math problem and wonder how on earth does someone passive, pessimistic and antisocial like him would end up friends with someone so energetic.
It wasn’t like Mingi didn’t have other friends. He did. Kind of. But no one else made him feel like that.
(No one else made him feel butterflies in his stomach either, but he googled the symptoms and self-determined it’s most likely gastritis or palpitations, not a crush.)

Changbin bursts into giggles. He has said Hyunjin knows how to assert himself clearly and that applies in a lot of ways. Also, Hyunjin is drugged on all his post-performance feel-good chemicals and he’s babbling.
Changbin squeezes Hyunjin’s waist. “Sure, baby.”
“Whore,” Hyunjin mutters under his breath.
Changbin bursts into full-blown laughter this time. “Okay, was that necessary?”

“My mom wants to meet you."
Hyunjin looks up at Changbin, and it takes all of his willpower to hold eye contact. His skin feels hot, he’s squirming in his seat on the couch, he knows he’s blushy and smiley but he’s past the point of caring about that in front of Changbin now. “You told your mom about me?"
Changbin smiles and tilts his head. “Yeah, I told my mom about you,” he laughs. “Like, six months ago.”
Hyunjin decides it's time to tell his parents about his boyfriend.
