“You look like you want to murder that quiche,” someone says as they sit down next to her. Annabeth looks up, not really needing to, since she knows that voice like the back of her hand.
“Jackson.” She nods her head toward him.
“So tell me, Chase,” he says, handing her a glass of wine. “What did that quiche ever do to you?”
Annabeth snorts. “Please, as if the name isn’t reason enough. Keesh.” She over-pronunciates the word with a grimace. “Just call it a pie and be done with it.”
Or, the one where Annabeth and Percy go to a wedding together (but not together), it's the one where years and years of pining finally reaches its boiling point, and definitely the one where Luke needs a good smack on the head.
