Summary
Seonghwa gets up from the armchair and walks closer to him, socks sliding on the floorboards, leaning against the foot of the bed in a half-sitting-half-standing position that just cannot be comfortable. “Are we okay ?”
(Hongjoong is too stressed and too busy for this. That doesn't mean he doesn't want it.)

Summary
“Are you taking on new players?” He doesn’t think before he says it, and if he had, he might not have opened his mouth at all. He knows that Choi Seungcheol is the coach for Kim Mingyu and Lee Seokmin, Minghao’s old high school rivals. Though apparently Seokmin was recently injured pretty seriously, and if Seungcheol was moving on, it would be worth asking.
But Seungcheol smiles sadly and shakes his head again. “Not really, sorry. Mingyu is a handful, even without a partner.”
Minghao snorts. “Tell me about it.”
--
After 7 years of fighting his way up the men’s singles tennis bracket, Minghao’s career has stalled out at world rank #30. Desperate for anything that can jumpstart his game again, he fires his coach, moves across the city, and starts practicing at a new club. There, he’s noticed by a coach who thinks he might know exactly what he needs.
Enter Mingyu, a career doubles player who finds himself suddenly in need of a new partner. His coach has a solution, but Mingyu and Minghao have a history.
Can they commit to this partnership that at times feels simultaneously too good to be true and not at all what they want? Or will they let old ambitions interrupt a shot at happiness?Bookmarked by stardaengie

Summary
“Please don’t leave me,” Jeonghan begs, in between kisses. He knows he’s drunk and that he has to stop talking, but the truth comes out of him anyway. Embarrassingly desperate, excruciatingly real. “Please, God, I won’t be able to handle it.”
“Baby,” Mingyu breathes out, “I won’t.”
