“Are you taking on new players?” He doesn’t think before he says it, and if he had, he might not have opened his mouth at all. He knows that Choi Seungcheol is the coach for Kim Mingyu and Lee Seokmin, Minghao’s old high school rivals. Though apparently Seokmin was recently injured pretty seriously, and if Seungcheol was moving on, it would be worth asking.
But Seungcheol smiles sadly and shakes his head again. “Not really, sorry. Mingyu is a handful, even without a partner.”
Minghao snorts. “Tell me about it.”

Desperate for anything that can jumpstart his game again, he fires his coach, moves across the city, and starts practicing at a new club.
