   Summary

   The thing was, Matsukawa seemed just as simple as the changing of seasons. The boy was always calm, going on and adjusting for whatever path life led him on, like that was just where he was meant to be. He moved on as easily as a sakura blossom in the breeze, as simple as snow melting into a river.

   “When did you become so wise,” Matsukawa asked, probably meant to come off as a joke, but sounding too breathy.
   Hanamaki gave a small laugh even as his heart raced at Matsukawa’s tone. “I know, handsome and wise. I’m favored by the gods, I guess. I’ll make a request out to them to take you under their wing, too.”
