“You’re being purposefully inflammatory,” Dazai said with an eye roll. “He has the sword, both swords.” Dazai groaned as the picture of doom just kept expanding in his mind. “He probably has Fukuchi too–there’s no way Teruko could actually kill him. I swear the agency's inability to kill effectively and permanently will be the death of me.”

Summary
Based on a popular artwork I did for whumptober, Dazai has a major drop and seriously injures himself in the pursuit of catharsis. He doesn't expect Chuuya to show up and find him at his worst.
And he certainly doesn't expect to be taken to Mori, who only makes things much, much worse, determined to punish Dazai for leaving the Mafia. After all, he's been running from the memories ever since it happened.
**Takes place in the two years between Dazai leaving the Port Mafia and joining the ADA, during which nothing is known about what he did, except that he was unemployed and frequently drunk in a bar named Lupin.**
